MTN Surprise 4.5GB Data Plan For #2,500 Explained.

MTN in this season of surprise, last week lunched a new data plan of 4.5GB for N2500 specifically meant for Smart phones(Android). And we all know that prior to this, MTN already has a similar MTN night plan which offers the same data size, and also sold at same price.

And just like the night plan, this plan works for all devices be it Android, Blackberry10, Ipads, & laptops / PCs. The 4.5gb is also separated into two Accounts. 1.5GB Day data and 3gb Night data. With Day being from 6:01am to 9pm and Night from 9:01pm to 6:00am. Once its night your data charges automatically switch from day account to night account vice versa. And when one is Exhausted, E.g DAY, you just have to wait and browse only at night.

Difference Between The Night Plan And MTN 4.5GB
==>The activation codes are different.
==>Unlike this plan which switches from one account to the other depending on the time of the day, in Night plan you are required to exhausted the day account of 1.5GB before moving over to night Account.

How To Activate?
==>Recharge your phone with value worth N2,500
==>Text 120 to 131. Or dial *123*3# for more options.

But If you will rather prefer to subscribe for MTN Night Plan, text 102 to 131.

Having any doubt? I will be glad to hear them. Kindly use the comment box!

    1. Thats a question they will never provide answers to. I bet they are just fooling them self not us. It would have being much better if they left out the restriction part. Thank you for stopping by.

  2. It is just me that feels that MTN does a crappy job of trying to discover what the market place wants.

    They keeping adding restrictions and it's driving a lot of their customers away.

    I was a fan of MTN data services but all the restrictions made me RUN and now I'll rather rely on wifi, even though atimes it's inconvenient.

    Thanks for the information though. Who knows, I might reconsider

    1. Sad to hear that. Really MTN is just out of it though they are good in terms of cheaper call rates, providing cheap data plans is not just their thing also concedering the restrictions they added to SME. But meanwhile since you are not too comfortable with your wifi option i might as well refer you to Airtel 9gb for #3,500.Thank you

  4. Okay cool. But I read your post on how airtel 9gb actually offers less than 9gb and is a one time thing. in light of that.. .. Would u say this mtn plan is more preferable?

    1. No no no. Airtel zapps your data but not that much now. I think they have worked on that. They offer 9gb for 3,500 which is times 2 of this. And very fast depending on your area.
