Why MTN, Etisalat, Glo & Airtel Blocked, Deactivated Your Sim Cards

Nigerian telecom companies MTN, Etisalat, Airtel and Glo few days ago blocked, deregistered over 10.7million sim cards as a result if a 7days ultimatum given to them by NCC.

I know most of you who happen to be victims maybe wondering as to why this happened or what the next cause of action will be.
Sim-cards
In case you didn't get a text from your network provider, once you notice, you cant make or receive calls with your line, getting a funny message to register your sim card when you dial the code to check your account balance, then am sorry you are a victim. Its not a network issue. Your sim has just been Deactivated!

Why They Blocked Your Sim?

==>1. Your sim is Not registered
==>2. Sim registered but Not properly registered
==>3. Poor biometric capturing during registration.

What To Do?

The message was clear. If your sim was deactivated by your network provider, you must have received a text to that effect. So what you need do is go to the nearest customer care outlet or sim registration unit to register the sim. Re-register it again if you have done that before or simply follow the instructions given in the message you received.

What if I Don't Register It?

Then there is no two ways about it. Your line will be barred, removed or blocked permanently after sometime.
