Glo data gifting is a great feature employed by Glo Nigeria which enables you buy a data bundle on behalf of your friends, family members. What this entails is that, you can buy a subscription and send it to friends, family and loved ones as ‘gifts’.
That is the plan while being bought by you, is not credited to your line. But rather to a particular number you choose. This feature is especially useful if you don’t want to share your subscription with the intended recipient. Or better still, don't want to send them money to buy it them self. Once bought, the gift recipient will be notified via customized SMS from glo.

What You Need?
==>Enough airtime credits on your Glo line to cover the data cost
==>The USSD code of the preferred data bundle plan. You can get that here.***
==>The mobile phone number you wish to gift the data.
To go with this method, which I will actually recommend, simply Dial *127*[USSD_Plan_Number]* [friend’s number]# or Send “Gift [friend’s number]” to 127 in an SMS.
Visit hsi.glo.com from your device (using Glo SIM) and use the gifting feature.
