How To Use National Identity Card To Withdraw Cash From Your ATM

We all know that National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) that issue out the Nigerian National ID Cards is now issuing Electronic ID cards that can as well be used for electronic payments online in place of ATM, credit cards instead of the usual hard, worthless and less techy card they issue before.

In this post, you will learn not just how to load money into your new Nigerian national I'D card but also how to withdraw with it from any ATM machine having the MasterCard logo here in Nigeria.

Firstly, When was NIMC Established?

This was established by the NIMC Act No. 23 of 2007, the NIMC has the mandate to establish, own, operate, maintain and manage the National Identity Database in Nigeria, register persons covered by the Act, assign a Unique National Identification Number (NIN) and issue General Multi-Purpose Cards (GMPC) to those.

How To Load Your National ID Card
==>Visit any Access Bank branch with your card
==>Complete a deposit slip with the required information
==>Your card will be credited instantly with the value of cash paid

IF YOU WANT TO MAKE CASH PAYMENT WITHOUT HAVING YOUR CARD WITH YOU:
==>Visit any Access Bank branch with your card
==>Make sure you know your 16 digits card number
==>Complete a deposit slip with the required information
==>The card will be credited with the value of cash paid
NOTE: Before you start funding your National ID card(Master Card), you must activate it in your respective banks, that is, Go to the bank you are using, then activate it, but if you haven’t done yours, follow this procedures:

==> First, activate your card by selecting a 4-digit PIN using the POS terminal at the NIMC center or any Access Bank Branch

==>If you wish to change your PIN, visit any Access Bank ATM and insert your card.  Go to the PIN change menu then select I-PIN on the display,

==> A ”PIN Change Successful” message is displayed
