Day 1 of Jumia mobile week was awesome. Some people reportedly got Innjoo mobile phones sold at 17,700 and N27,999 for as low as N8,800 and N13,999 respectively. That is at a whooping 50% discount.
Today's discounts are on Infinix Hot and Infinix Hot Note and starts from 5am for mobile users and 9pm for desktop users as usual. And from what we learnt yesterday, this is mostly available to the fastest fingers. First come first serve.
By this, i mean. Jumia gives out the coupon/voucher codes for this discounts at specific time of the day which they will send out to everybody that subscribed to receive early deals on the mobile week. And also announce it at their facebook fan page.
So what happens is this; when they announce the time for the discount, amount to be cut off, they will also give out the coupon code that is meant to start working once the supposed time is reached. So when the time hits, everybody rushes down and start placing their order. Meaning the fastest fingers get the deals while others wait for the next deal of the day.
