New Plan! MTN Beta Talk - Get 200% Bonus On Every Recharge

Yesterday, i talked about a Glo Bis awoof that gives you back times 2 your money after subscribing, and this morning i noticed that MTN just launched a new tariff plan(MTN Beta talk) similar to that. With just some minor differences.

MTN beta talk gives you 200% of any recharge you make. That is, you get 3times your every recharge meaning a recharge of #100 will give a bonus of #200 totaling #300. To be charged at 0.40kobo per seconds equivalent to N24/min to all network - which is more preferable compared to the Glo bumpa billed at 0.50k/sec (N30/min)
In addition to the 200% free credit, you get 10mb worth of data upon the first weekly recharge of N100 and above like we have on mtn pulse. You can check the 10mb by dialing *559#

Key Things To Note About This Plan

==>You get 200% bonus on every recharge you make even if its 20times in a month.
==>The bonus validity is 7days
==>You can use the bonus data on calls, sms, and PAYG data(note: "PAY G data" not subscription)
==>Calls are charged at 40k/s to all network
==>The free 10mb is given once in 7days upon the recharge of #100 and above. Subsequent recharge in the same week will not amount to any mb.
==>The 10mb expires in 7days if not exhausted.

How To Migrate?

To migrate and enjoy this packages, dial *123*2*6# or text BT to 131

Although the call rate is really high(40kob0), the bonus has got you covered. Or what do you think? are you dialing that migration code?

Update
MTN Beta Talk 200% validity has been reduced from 7days to just 3day. More on that Here

  1. Since you get 200% bonus on all recharges of N100 and above, it could be argued that the real rate per second is approximately 13.4 Kobo per second or N8 per minute, which makes it cheaper than MTN SmoothTalk Plus, which charges 15 Kobo per second (N9 per minute) after the first cumulative 60 seconds have been charged at 40 Kobo per second.

    1. Sure you are right with the calculations. Sometimes you just have to use your initiatives to get what want. Though the MTN ZONE cheat still works fine with calls at 4kobo/seconds to all network.
