How Flash the Recovery the On Your Huawei Honor 6X

  1. Download Huawei Honor 6X (berlin) TWRP recovery here.
  2. After downloading the recovery copy it to the desktop of your computer.
  3. Setup ADB and Fastboot on your PC.
  4. Enable USB debugging on your device:
  5. Open Settings on your device.
  6. Go to About phone and tap seven times on Build number, this will enable Developer options.
  7. Now go back to Settings and you’ll see Developer options there, open it.
  8. Tick the USB Debugging checkbox.
  9. Open the folder where you saved TWRP Recovery .img file in Step 1 above.
  10. Now open a command window inside that folder. To do that, hold down the “Shift + Right click” on any empty white space inside the folder and then select “Open command window here” from the context menu.
  11. Connect your device to the PC. And type adb reboot bootloader into the command window we opened in Step 10 above to boot your device into bootloader/fastboot mode.
  12. If you get a permission dialogue on your device to “Allow USB debugging”, tap OK (hit the enter button).
  13. Once your device boots into bootloader mode, issue the following command into command window to flash the TWRP recovery .img file:
  14. fastboot flash recovery twrp.img don't forget that the recovery trp is the name of the given to the twrp recovery file you downloaded. for instance, if after downloading the recovery you renamed it to "recovery.img" which is what I'd advice you to do, then if you want to flash the recovery file via fastboot then you shoud run this command fastboot flash recovery.img
  15. So modify twrp.img with the name of your TWRP recovery .img file, OR change your TWRP recovery file name to recovery.img and use the command above which is i bkue colour.
  16. Once TWRP is successfully flashed on your device, issue the following command to reboot:
  17. fastboot reboot.

Note: All the above command you should run are indicated in Blue colour and bold letters.
