Today is Monday. And everybody is getting ready to hit the streets, resume work, go to school or run there normal daily routine, guaranteeing a hundred folds of handshakes, hugs, kisses, accidental contacts and so on, but the Ebola virus looking for whom to grab next. And as we have it in the news, Ebola virus has already hit major cities like Lagos, Port Harcourt(very close to Owerri), Abia State and some other parts of the country.

1. Red eyes and skin rash
2. Fever
3. Severe headache
4. Joint and muscle aches
5. Chills and general Weakness

6. Nausea and vomiting
7. Diarrhea (may be bloody)
8. Chest pain and cough
9. Stomach pain
10. Severe weight loss
11. Bleeding, usually from the eyes, and bruising (people near death may bleed from other orifices,
such as ears, nose and rectum)
12. Internal bleeding.

Best Way To Prevent
1. Avoid people with the above symptoms.
2. Wash your hands regularly with soap and water:
This is because, when strains of this virus are in your hands, it is easier to be transmitted into your body/tissue. As we all touch our mouth, nose, eyes. Without even knowing. So pls wash your hands regularly especially after making contacts with people.
3. Avoid touching/ hand shaking people:
Though this might seem abnormal. Your life 1st before tradition. So try other method of greeting like waving hands or just smiling in return or if you must shake. Don't forget to wash your hands.
4. Avoid bush meat entirely especially bats
5. Avoid dead bodies
6. Get hand sanitizers and use once you make unnecessary contacts. But pls do wash your hands with soap and water once its available as this does not guarantee complete removal of virus strains.
