Hey Guys! today am gona be showing you guys how to install this wonderful infinix Zero 2 (V2.0) OctOs Lollipop Rom on your Infinix Zero 2 X509.
Team OctOs is an Android Open-Source Project (AOSP) based on CyanogenMod 12.1 Lollipop ROM which allows its user to customize the ROM to their taste.
Now this ROM has been ported to MT6592M, by Amr_virusx from Infinix Xclub . This ROM can be ported to all MT6592M devices running Android Kitkat 4.4.x of which Infinix Zero 2 x509 is amoung them.
NOTE:- Naijatechlovers, WILL NEVER BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR BRICKING YOUR DEVICE, SO FOLLOW THE PROCEDURE CAREFULLY AND TRY THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
HOW TO INSTALL OctOS LOLLIPOP ROM ON INFINIX ZERO 2
1- you need to be on kitkat (if you are already running Lollipop ROM Please Downgrade Back to KitKat ROM if you need to install this rom)
2- TWRP recovery must be installed on your phone (Download It From Here).
3- download the rom and gapps and copy them to sdcard(memory card).
4- boot to recovery(Switch off your phone then hold down up volume button+power button at the same time).
5- wipe cache – followed by dalvik cache – and finally, system.
6- install rom.(click here to learn how to install ROM from Recovery Mode)
7- install gapps.(click here to learn how to install GAPPS from Recovery Mode)
8- wipe cache – dalvik cache.
9- reboot.
10- turn off location in SETTINGS, reboot your phone.
11- enjoy the rom.
