How To Install TWRP Recovery on Gionee M5 Mini

hello guys, today am gonna show you two ways on how to install TWRP custom recovery on your Gionee M5 mini and in my next post I'm gonna show you how to install Custom ROM on Gionee M5 Mini Using TWRP recovery. This process can also be used to flash ClockWorkMode Recovery.

Before flashing recovery on Gionee M5 Mini, your Gionee M5 Mini must be rooted else you won't be able to install the TWRP on your Phone using My method. So if your Gionee M5 Mini is Not rooted, kindly go through this post on "How I rooted My Gionee M5 Mini without PC".

INSTALLING TWRP Recovery On Your Gionee M5 Mini

Download Mobile Uncle.apk or MTK Engeneering Tools
Download Rashr.apk

Download TWRP RECOVERY or ClockWorkMode Recovery

Installing TWRP With Mobile UncleTools 

Download  Mobile Uncle
1)Turn Off Internet Connection
2)Place Your Downloaded Recovery on Sdcard root Directory
3)Open the app
4)Select Recovery update
5)Select Your Recovery
6)Then Flash It
7)After Doing that Reboot Into Recovery.

Installing TWRP With Flashify or Rahsr Flash Tool

Download  Flashify or Rashr [will be using Rashr in this tutorial]
1)Place Your Downloaded Recovery on root of your Sdcard Directory...

2)Open the app and click on Backup  to backup your stock recovery and kernel (very important).

3)then go back and click on "Recovery on Storage" on the App main menu. 
4)Now Locate the Recovery.image File from your SD Card File Maanger root folder and click on it.

5)A prompt will come up asking you if you wanna proceed with the flashing. Just click ok and wait while it flashes the new custom recovery.

6)Once everything has been done, power off your phone and boot into recovery mode to see the new recovery which you have just flashed. Now you can flash any custom rom on your device which requires custom recovery.

To flash back our stock recovery, follow the same process.......
